General Responsibilities

  • Understand and disseminate corporate and hotel policies and SOPs to colleagues
  • Comply with MOHG Code of Conduct and all legal requirements
  • Support Human Resources Strategic Policy and learning activities
  • Safeguard confidential information and adhere to data protection
  • Comply with Safe, Sound and Sustainable policies
  • Adhere to Social Media Policy and act as a hotel ambassador

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Support outlet manager in operational and administrative aspects of In Room Dining
  • Enforce and monitor operational standards and quality measures
  • Create synergy between In Room Dining and other F&B outlets and Rooms Division
  • Coordinate guest amenities and minibar operations with Front Office and Housekeeping
  • Assist residents with ingredient delivery and track trolley/tray clearance
  • Provide catering services in guest rooms in liaison with banqueting
  • Supervise side duty schedules and ensure compliance
  • Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of outlet and floor pantries
  • Identify areas for improvement in service and food quality
  • Maintain communication with Chef de Cuisine for effective food flow
  • Ensure menu descriptions are up to date and displayed properly
  • Observe competition and market trends, forward ideas to outlet manager

Colleague Relations

  • Provide leadership and direction to outlet colleagues during operations
  • Focus on training order takers for smooth interaction and upselling
  • Ensure grooming and appearance standards are maintained
  • Prepare weekly roster to schedule colleagues within budget
  • Conduct counselling and disciplinary action as appropriate
  • Encourage inter departmental communication for teamwork

Guest Relations

  • Monitor and follow through on VIP guest requirements
  • Ensure customer satisfaction from arrival to departure per MOHG standards
  • Drive team to create WOW moments for guests
  • Handle customer complaints effectively
