Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Financial Controller in overseeing all financial operations of the property, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Monitor daily financial transactions, ensuring proper recording, reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in line with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and internal financial controls.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Assist in cost control initiatives by analyzing expenses, identifying variances, and recommending improvements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes when required.
  • Work closely with operational departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with budgets.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.

Experience & Skills

  • 3 6 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within hospitality or a related industry, with at least 1 2 years in a supervisory or support role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and support strategic decision-making.
  • Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
