About The Property
Dar Tantora, The House Hotel – An earth-built community in AlUla
Dar Tantora The House Hotel with its labyrinth of tightly packed streets, hundreds of mud-brick buildings, and a colossal watchtower fort, Dar Tantora, The House Hotel, is situated in the heart of AlUla’s Old Town, one of Saudi Arabia's most impressive heritage sites. Meanwhile, Cloud 7 Residence, Dar Tantora The House Hotel’s sister property, offers a serene escape just a short distance away from the bustling city centre. The exclusive community, composed of 30 rooms, 2 F&B outlet, cigar lounge, spa, numerous bespoke retail stores will become the most sought-after earth friendly, low impact sustainable heritage eco sanctuary, where the goal is to create an experience, with workshops and activities that showcase the importance of the destination in history.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Financial Controller in overseeing all financial operations of the property, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor daily financial transactions, ensuring proper recording, reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in line with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and internal financial controls.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in cost control initiatives by analyzing expenses, identifying variances, and recommending improvements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes when required.
- Work closely with operational departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with budgets.
- Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Experience & Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within hospitality or a related industry, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or support role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Proven ability to analyze financial data and support strategic decision-making.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
