Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Assistant Director of Sales to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
  • You will partner with the Director of Sales to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and establish our organization as a market leader.
  • This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our business performance while developing your leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies.
  • Lead and mentor sales team members, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Identify emerging business trends, market opportunities, and competitive insights.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts while actively prospecting new business.
  • Develop and present detailed sales proposals and action plans monthly and quarterly.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and budget allocation with revenue management team.
  • Organize and execute strategic sales trips and client familiarization events.
  • Maintain relationships with government authorities, tourism boards, and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and revenue targets.
  • Participate in industry forums, trade shows, and business functions.
  • Oversee online distribution channels and manage relationships with third party partners.
  • Support events and operations teams and contribute to recruitment of new sales associates.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Sales, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in sales management or assistant director capacity, or 3 years progressive sales experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budget management, and revenue forecasting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Leadership experience with ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Proficiency in market analysis and sales forecasting.
  • Fluency in English; additional language is a plus.
