Role Overview

  • Assist Cluster Director of Finance in administration of all financial aspects of hotel operations
  • Ensure local and corporate policies and procedures are observed
  • Supervise day to day operations of the Accounting office

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing annual budget, FF&E budgets, and rolling forecast
  • Provide accurate financial and management reports to hotel management, corporate office, and owners
  • Analyze financial data and communicate meaningful variations
  • Ensure cash flow adequacy and approve cash disbursements
  • Approve rebates, adjustments, and allowances per company policy
  • Verify accruals and journal entries, maintain balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare or oversee tax returns and other reporting
  • Manage capital process and fixed asset tracking
  • Supervise accounting staff and ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of Policy & Procedure contents
  • Fiduciary responsibility to Company and Owners
  • Experience in financial analysis and reporting
  • Ability to develop and maintain internal controls
