About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Engineering department, including maintenance, utilities, and technical services
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of building systems and equipment
- Supervise engineering team members, provide technical guidance, and support training and performance management activities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety requirements, energy management initiatives, and company standards
- Support budgeting, cost control, CAPEX planning, contractor management, and execution of engineering projects
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, BMS, and fire & life safety systems
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong project management and maintenance planning skills
- Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis abilities
- Good financial awareness including budgeting and cost optimization
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or related professional engineering certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or senior engineering supervisory role
- Experience managing CAPEX projects, contractors, engineering budgets, sustainability initiatives, energy optimization, and hotel engineering systems is an added advantage
- Previous experience with internationally branded luxury or upscale hotels is highly preferred

- Experience managing CAPEX projects, contractors, engineering budgets, sustainability initiatives, energy optimization, and hotel engineering systems is an added advantage.
- Previous experience with internationally branded luxury or upscale hotels is highly preferred.
