Main Purpose of Role
Support the Cost Management team while taking responsibility for allocated tasks.
Help provide excellent service delivery and enhance the company’s reputation.
Help meet client objectives through effective cost management from pre-contract to construction completion.
Key Experience and Requirements
- Knowledge of and experience in the real estate sector.
- Knowledge of the cost management or quantity surveying profession.
- Basic experience in estimating and preparing Bills of Quantities.
- Professional approach and confidence in the ability to add value to the team.
- Ability to work with others and accept instruction in a team environment.
- Willingness to listen, learn, and develop skills.
Key Accountabilities
- Estimate costs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
- Take personal responsibility for work produced.
- Assist the team with accurate and timely information and reports.
- Interface with team members in a professional manner.
- Progress a career in cost management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CostX or similar cost management software.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar subject.
- Desire to obtain professional membership such as MRICS.
- Three to five years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the construction industry.
