Overview

  • Minor Hotels is an international hotel owner, operator and investor with over 530 properties.
  • As an Assistant Concierge Manager, execute the Service Promise to Guests through training and Brand Service Essentials.

Responsibilities

  • Overlook daily operations of the whole Concierge department.
  • Coach, lead, guide and direct the team of Concierge Agents.
  • Approve and adjust schedules based on business volume forecasts.
  • Provide feedback and seize training and coaching opportunities.
  • Ensure team knowledge of hotel facilities, activities, promotions and happenings.
  • Act as ambassador of the hotel and assist with guest requests.
  • Maintain network of service providers for guest requirements.
  • Manage facilitation of guest requests for dining, shows, recreation, tours, transport, etc.
  • Ensure luggage, messages, parcels are handled efficiently.
  • Adhere to financial guidelines and control costs.
  • Manage daily documentation and recording of bills.
  • Promote and follow safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Passion for guest service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized, results oriented with ability to be flexible and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Fluency in English, secondary language preferred.
  • Member of Les Clefs D'Or.
  • Minimum 1 year previous proven Supervisory position or equivalent in customer service industry.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and guest requests.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
