Area Manager - Quick Service Restaurant

Role Overview

Multi-Store Operations

• Oversee daily operations and performance across assigned QSR locations.
• Implement company policies, operational procedures, and brand standards consistently.
• Conduct store visits and operational reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Support new store openings, operational transitions, and business improvement initiatives.

Sales and Cost Management

• Own sales and commercial performance and develop action plans for sales, profitability, and operational targets.
• Analyze sales trends, customer traffic, average transaction value, and other business indicators.
• Monitor P&L and optimize labor, food, packaging, utilities, and other controllable expenses.
• Review financial performance and provide recommendations to senior management.

People and Guest Experience

• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and restaurant leadership teams.
• Support manpower planning, recruitment, succession planning, and career development.
• Monitor customer feedback, complaints, and satisfaction and drive service and product improvements.

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, UAE legal, inventory, stock control, cash handling, and loss prevention requirements.
• Monitor store KPIs including sales, profitability, labor cost, food cost, satisfaction, productivity, and compliance.
• Prepare performance reports and business reviews and share best practices across brands and locations.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of restaurant operations experience, preferably in QSR or high-volume food and beverage environments.
• At least 3 years as an Area Manager, Multi-Unit Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leader.
• Experience managing multiple restaurants simultaneously.
• Experience with multiple brands or restaurant concepts is highly preferred.
• Strong QSR, commercial performance, customer experience, P&L, budget, cost, and KPI management experience.
• Strong leadership, people management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-site environment and travel between locations.
• UAE or GCC food and beverage experience is preferred.
