Job Description
Egis is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Architecture Intern in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role is offered through the Tamheer internship program and provides hands-on experience in architectural design and project development.
The intern will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to architectural projects in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation using industry-standard software.
- Support senior architects in building projects from concept through completion.
- Research building materials, construction methods, and architectural styles.
- Participate in site visits and document existing conditions, measurements, and project progress.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients on design feasibility and compliance.
- Analyze designs using building codes and design principles.
- Create 3D models and renderings for design visualization and stakeholder presentations.
- Maintain project files, attend design meetings, and support proposals and presentations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and design standards.
- Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Strong spatial reasoning, visualization, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Saudi building regulations and local construction standards is preferred.
- Experience with BIM software and knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering tools are preferred.
- Basic project management understanding, effective time management, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are preferred.
