Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC systems and equipment for oil & gas projects
- Analyze RFQs, tender documents, and project specifications
- Coordinate with factory for pricing and technical data
- Prepare techno commercial proposals within bid timelines
- Review client specifications and ensure full technical compliance
- Support in equipment selection based on project requirements
- Ensure compliance with UAE and oil & gas industry standards
- Assist in preparation of submittals and approval documents
- Assist sales team in preparing proposals and presentations
- Participate in client meetings and technical discussions
- Support negotiations and contract finalization
- Develop understanding of client needs and market trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 15 Years of experience within HVAC and Oil & Gas
- Application and technical knowledge in HVAC equipment (Package, AHU, Chiller, FCU, Split unit, Condensing units etc)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment
- Understanding of oil & gas project requirements
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office and estimation tools
- Cost analysis and pricing strategy
- Tender documentation preparation
- Basic contract and commercial knowledge
- Negotiation support

Role Overview
- Responsible for clarifications from customer and consultants regarding HVAC equipment selections, and customization of products according to customer needs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 15 Years of experience within HVAC and Oil & Gas
Skills & Experience
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment, understanding of oil & gas project requirements, ability to interpret drawings and specifications, proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office and estimation tools
- Commercial Skills: Cost analysis and pricing strategy, tender documentation preparation, basic contract and commercial knowledge, negotiation support
- Soft Skills: Customer Oriented, Team work, Result Oriented, Priority & Time Management, Effective Communication, Attention to Details
Main Performance Areas
- Estimation & Costing: Prepare detailed cost estimates, analyze RFQs and tender documents, coordinate with factory, prepare techno commercial proposals.
- Technical Evaluation & Compliance: Review client specifications, support equipment selection, ensure compliance with UAE and oil & gas standards, assist in submittals.
- Sales & Business Development Support: Assist sales team, participate in client meetings, support negotiations, develop understanding of client needs.
- Post Award Support: Assist in project handover, support variation pricing, monitor project cost performance.
QHSE & Excellence Standards
- Strictly adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 standards.
- Work towards departmental objectives and KPIs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors on QHSE compliance.
- Recognize impact of manufacturing processes on quality.
- Follow safety guidelines and report incidents.
