Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and driving the delivery of an integrated strategy for all businesses in the UAE
- Support the CEO Office to drive the development and execution of overall country strategy and direction
- Drive delivery of country priorities and strategy, country plan, scorecard, budget, and performance targets
- Facilitate an integrated 'One Bank' approach across business and support functions
- Ensure country infrastructure supports business growth (people, facilities, technology, processes)
- Support People Leader in CEO office processes including Crisis Management and OCIR Country Coordinator
- Attend Country Risk Governance meetings and assist in oversight of risk matters
- Assist in ensuring highest standards of governance across the Bank's operations in the UAE
- Act as prime contact point and coordinator for CEO Office initiatives
- Follow up on matters and issues on behalf of the CEO Office; manage closure of action items
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Proactive and self directed with ability to handle confidential information
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic

Job Summary
- Be self directed and proactive in providing support to the CEO office in all aspects of running the UAE franchise.
Key Responsibilities Strategy
- Assist in developing and driving the delivery of an integrated strategy for all businesses in the UAE.
- Support the CEO Office to drive the development and execution of overall country strategy and direction, ensure alignment with the Region as well as the Group.
Key Responsibilities Business
- Drive delivery of the country priorities and strategy and the country plan, country scorecard, overall budget, financial and other performance targets.
- Facilitate an integrated 'One Bank' approach across the business and support functions.
- Ensure the country infrastructure is in place to support the business growth (people, facilities, technology and processes).
- Ensure appropriate prioritisation of issues around risk, control, investment, people, projects and change management within the country.
Key Responsibilities Processes
- Support People Leader in all CEO office processes, including those related to the role of Crisis Management Co ordinator, OCIR Country Co ordinator, strategy and overall governance of the business.
Key Responsibilities People and Talent
- Support the CEO Office in developing and embedding a high performance culture across all businesses in the UAE.
- Champion and act as role model of the Group’s Stands, values and culture.
Key Responsibilities Risk Management
- Attend all Country Risk Governance meetings and assist the CEO Office in providing oversight of all risk matters in country.
- Represent the CEO Office at various forums on request.
- Assist in working with CMT members and other key stakeholders to reinforce an effective control environment.
Key Responsibilities Governance
- Assist to ensure that the highest standards of governance are adopted across each of the Bank’s operations in the UAE.
- Assist in oversight of the governance of projects and strategic and governance initiatives impacting the country.
- Assist in setting the CMT agenda and ensuring effectiveness of the CMT and that all governance is adhered to.
- Assist in the fulfilment of all committee updates, management updates and reports from the UAE to both Regional and Group stakeholders.
- Understand and balance the Group’s objectives and the expectations of regulators.
- Follow up on matters and issues on behalf of the CEO Office; manage closure of action items.
- Act as a prime contact point and coordinator for CEO Office initiatives.
- Assist CEO Office in responding to and proactively addressing issues as they arise.
