About the Role
Deel is seeking an AI Security Specialist to join the Information Security team and lead efforts to secure AI-powered systems and machine learning infrastructure. You will define security standards, evaluate emerging threats, and implement controls.

Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain the AI security strategy across infrastructure and product ecosystem
- Lead security assessments and threat modeling for AI/ML models, LLM integrations, and agentic AI systems
- Evaluate and deploy AISPM and AIDR solutions
- Secure MCP server deployments including authentication, authorization, and data flow controls
- Own security review and enablement process for internal AI tool adoption
- Develop and enforce policies for safe use of AI tools across the organization
- Secure internal development initiatives including vibe coding workflows and AI assisted development environments
- Plan and execute penetration testing engagements targeting AI/ML models and AI powered systems
- Design and implement DLP controls for AI environments
- Conduct security reviews of AI related connectors, plugins, and third party integrations
- Collaborate with SOC and incident response teams to build AI specific detection rules and playbooks
- Monitor evolving AI threat landscape and translate risks into actionable controls
Requirements
- Experience in AI/ML security, including threat modeling for AI/ML models and LLM integrations
- Knowledge of AI Security Posture Management (AISPM) and AI Detection & Response (AIDR) solutions
- Experience with penetration testing of AI/ML models (prompt injection, model manipulation, adversarial attacks)
- Understanding of DLP controls for AI environments
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Experience with secure API gateway testing and RBAC
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- You'll act as a key enabler for internal AI adoption, helping teams safely leverage new AI tools.
