About the role
Brain Co. builds AI-native operating systems for large, regulated institutions and deploys applied AI solutions at production scale.
The AI Product Engineer, Deployed will build and deploy software solutions that automate complex real-world problems.
The role involves working directly with customers to define product specifications and build solutions from zero.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled software using modern web frameworks, microservices, and cloud computing.
- Work with customer stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver practical AI-powered software solutions.
- Build scalable data pipelines, integrate industrial sensor networks, and improve application performance and reliability.
- Prepare systems for production across government, energy, healthcare, and other industrial use cases.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, mentor junior engineers, and promote high-quality engineering practices.
- Monitor and maintain deployed applications and tune them with customer engineers and subject matter experts.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience and willingness to work directly with customers to build software from zero.
- Experience with front-end and back-end technologies, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and database management systems.
- Strong foundation in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, collaborative, and end-to-end ownership skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with on-site engineering projects or client-facing engineering roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is a plus.
