About the Role
Emirates Group IT is hiring an Agile Delivery Manager for SkyCargo to lead large-scale, AI-driven development initiatives. The role requires strong experience in aviation cargo or logistics, managing scrum teams, and driving delivery excellence.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, and play a consultative role to optimize the efficiency of the Release Train team
- Act as a Champion in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or retribution
- Lead the Integrated Programme Planning (Lean Start Up) and drive decomposition of Epic Roadmaps into Integrated Program backlog/plans
- Drive Quality and ensure the Definition of Done (DOD) is being followed
- Assist in team development through holding teams accountable, removing roadblocks, and mentoring team members
- Support the Technical Product Manager in managing business expectations and transparency
- Define and manage a well defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives for Agile Delivery Management
- Assist with cost estimation/sizing exercise and prepare total cost of ownership with the product team
- Support the RFx phases in the procurement process and scheduling of activities
Requirements
- Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent in Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
- 8+ years of experience within Information Technology with proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams
- Experience in agile delivery within the context of a large technology change programme
- Certified SAFe and PMI ACP with 5+ Years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline
- Well versed in the use of tools of software delivery, e.g., ServiceNow ITBM, MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, Confluence
- Good architectural knowledge of large scale systems
- Ability to effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, focusing on core Scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect
- Hands on leader with strong people skills
- Aviation Cargo or Logistics domain experience is preferred

- As the Agile Delivery Manager SkyCargo, you will be responsible for planning, leading, organising, and motivating scrum teams.
In this role you will:
- Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, and play a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, processes, and tools supporting the Agile framework and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the Release Train team.
- Act as a Champion in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach in the right proportions to fit initiatives of all sizes with the appropriate level of planning and provide the right balance of agility and predictability based on PMI ACP princi
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or retribution, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving.
- Lead the Integrated Programme Planning (Lean Start Up). Working with portfolio teams and supporting the Technical Product Manager, drive and facilitate decomposition of Epic Roadmaps into Integrated Program backlog/plans (Features), ready for hand off into team level backlogs.
- Drive Quality and ensure the Definition of Done (DOD) is being followed; ensure each team member is fully engaged in the stories and making a meaningful contribution.
- Assist in team development through holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, leveraging cross functional team skills to improve product backlog throughput, and mentoring and developing team members.
- Supports the Technical Product Manager in managing business expectations and transparency in both the product backlog and schedule for all initiatives.
- Define and manage a well defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Delivery Management.
- Assist with the cost estimation/sizing exercise for both near term and future initiatives, and assist with preparing the total cost of ownership with the product team, maintain the actuals within the allocated budget, and ensure that forecasting for all the demands is accurately done for the FY.
- Together with the Product team, supports the RFx phases in the procurement process and the scheduling of such activities in relation to the product lifecycle.
Qualification
- A Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent in Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience within Information Technology with proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams for a large organisation.
- Experience in agile delivery within the context of a large technology change programme.
- Certified SAFe and PMI ACP (additional certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2, CSM desirable) with 5+ Years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline.
- Well versed in the use of tools of software delivery, e.g., ServiceNow ITBM, MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Good architectural knowledge of large scale systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders.
