Job Overview
- The Agile Delivery Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organising and motivating scrum teams to achieve high performance and quality in delivering outputs that provide exceptional value to end users and customers.
- May manage several concurrent high visibility initiatives using agile/hybrid methods in a fast paced environment involving multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, and play a consultative role to optimize the Agile framework.
- Act as a Champion in blending traditional project management with Agile development approach.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame.
- Protect and support the team using servant leadership style.
- Facilitate getting the work done and encourage discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
- Lead Integrated Programme Planning (Lean Start Up).
- Drive and facilitate decomposition of Epic Roadmaps into Integrated Program backlog/plans.
- Drive Quality and ensure Definition of Done is followed.
- Encourage sustainable pace adhering to quality management plan.
- Maintain an agile project management tool (e.g., ScrumDesk, JIRA).
- Assist in team development through holding teams accountable and removing roadblocks.
- Attend stand ups and scrum of scrums to understand progress and issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in agile project management and scrum.
- Knowledge of SAFe or similar scaled agile frameworks.
- Experience with agile project management tools like JIRA.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
