Responsibilities
- Schedule user stories from technical product backlog to Sprint plan, focusing on regular and timely delivery of business value
- Facilitate agile ceremonies: product backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, removing impediments/blockers to ensure optimal flow of value
- Guide the team on Agile/Scrum practices and values, assess Scrum maturity and coach the team to higher levels
- Work collaboratively with Technical Product Owners to refine, clarify and maintain the product backlog
- Support Technical Product Owners in managing business expectations and transparency in product backlog and schedule
- Define and manage a well defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Ensure Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done are followed; maintain agile project management tool (JIRA, etc.)
Requirements
- Degree or Honours in Computer Science or similar
- Certified Scrum Master with over 3 years of practical Scrum experience
- 5 years of working in Information Technology in agile delivery within a small to medium technology change program
- Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams
- Well versed in JIRA, Confluence, MS Office suite
- Excellent communication skills focusing on Scrum values of openness, honesty and respect

Job Purpose
- As an Agile Delivery Lead IT Business Platform Management, you will be responsible for end to end delivery of initiatives that span vendor led CAPEX projects, salesforce projects, in house product enhancements, support releases, and technical debt reduction.
- You’ll work closely with strategic vendor partners to manage delivery timelines, budgets, and quality, ensuring that all integrations between vendor built systems and Emirates’ enterprise platforms meet our technical and operational standards.
In this role you will
- Schedule user stories from the technical product backlog to the Sprint plan, focusing on regular and timely delivery of business value initiatives; facilitates agile ceremonies.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies removing impediments / blockers to ensure optimal flow of value.
- Guide the team on the use of Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight the business and how to elicit the most out of self organisation.
- Work collaboratively with the Technical Product Owners to refine, clarify and maintain the product backlog.
- Support the Technical Product Owners in managing business expectations and transparency in both product backlog and schedule for all initiatives.
- Define and manage a well defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Delivery Management.
- Ensure the Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DOD) is being followed; maintain an agile project management tool (ScrumDesk, JIRA, etc.).
Qualification
- Degree or Honours or equivalent in a subject related to Computer Science or similar.
- Certified Scrum Master with over three years of practical experience applying Scrum methodologies.
- 5 years of working in Information Technology in agile delivery within the context of a small medium technology change program.
- Well versed in the use of tools of software delivery e.g. MSOffice suite JIRA Confluence etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders.
- Excellent Communication Skills, focusing on core Scrum values of openness, honesty and respect.
