Job Overview

  • Metso Dubai is looking for an Admin Assistant to join the team.
  • Manage office petty cash, travel, events, and general administrative support.

What You Do

  • Manage and reconcile office petty cash, ensuring accurate recording and compliance.
  • Monitor and control office expenditures by processing invoices and maintaining records.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and visas.
  • Oversee transportation logistics including airport transfers and driver coordination.
  • Plan and coordinate corporate events, team building activities, and company gatherings.
  • Manage logistical requirements for internal meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Maintain office supplies and pantry inventory, coordinating procurement.
  • Handle general administrative correspondence including emails, phone calls, and courier services.
  • Ensure office environment is clean and organized, promoting QHSE compliance.
  • Support procurement and vendor management activities.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and conference facilities.
  • Maintain inventory of office assets including IT equipment and furniture.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 4 years of experience in administrative, office coordination, or executive support role.
  • Experience in travel coordination, event planning, vendor management, and office administration preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Sound problem solving and decision making capabilities.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong customer service orientation and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
