- Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability across construction, fit out, and consultancy projects
- Oversee project accounting, revenue recognition, and work in progress (WIP) reporting
- Manage cash flow forecasting and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and VAT requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team
- Support tendering and project commercial evaluations from a financial perspective
- Monitor subcontractor, supplier, and client financial transactions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
- Minimum 7 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Mandatory experience in Construction, Fit Out, Engineering Consultancy, or Contracting companies
- Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Experience with Odoo systems and accounting software
- Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills

About the Role
- We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee all accounting and financial operations across our Construction, Fit Out, and Engineering Consultancy divisions.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance within the engineering, construction, fit out, or consultancy industry, with a thorough understanding of project accounting, cost control, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
