Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting activities, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and other month end adjustments
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Maintain fixed asset registers and capital expenditure documentation
- Prepare financial reports and support management reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulatory requirements
- Support VAT preparation, tax compliance, and statutory reporting
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and provide required documentation
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting or finance
- French accounting experience is mandatory
- Previous Big 4 experience is mandatory
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems is highly desirable

Job Overview
