About the Team

  • You will get to be part of a dynamic and autonomous team from Careem veterans to new tigers on a mission to build Careem Shops.
  • All aligned on the same values of ownership, shooting to the moon, and being of service to customers, partners, colleagues, and captains.

What You'll Do

  • Account Management: Develop strong, long lasting relationships as the main point of contact between grocery and supermarket partners and Careem.
  • Growth: Drive business growth of existing grocery accounts and improve their commercial and operational performance.
  • Analysis: Analyze account performance data — GTV, order frequency, basket size, SKU level availability, and conversion — to quantify your actions.
  • Performance Meetings: Complete partner performance business reviews on a periodic basis and draw out next month's plans.
  • Partner with internal teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders from Marketing to Supply Chain, Catalog, Customer Care, and Finance.
  • Marketing and Monetization: Work closely with grocery partners to demonstrate the value of advertising and in app promotions with Careem.

What You'll Need

  • Previous experience in Account Management of enterprise accounts and commercial roles, ideally within grocery, FMCG, retail, or e commerce.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills — humble, fun, and down to earth.
  • Ability to establish and lead relationships with high profile grocery and retail partners.
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to bounce back from setbacks, and high adaptability to change.
  • Natural high intellect and quickness of thought to understand complex commercial opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) and related project/program management applications.
  • You must be a self starter with an exemplary sense of ownership.
