Overview

  • As an Account Executive at Buildforce, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our presence in the Virginia market.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to build and nurture relationships within the construction industry, leveraging your skills to expand our footprint and drive business growth.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $80k $100k (depending on experience level)
  • Commission: Uncapped commission with accelerator past quota
  • Stock Options: Direct equity ownership in the business

This Role Is Responsible For

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with leaders of electrical contractors in Virginia, understanding their staffing needs and challenges.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Presenting staffing solutions to electrical contractors and negotiating contract terms.
  • Attending workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in a CRM (Hubspot).
  • Collaborating with the recruiting team to match the right candidates with client requirements.
  • Collaborating with the product team to improve Buildforce’s contractor facing product.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in a construction related field
  • You are intimately familiar with the city of Phoenix and probably have a local area code
  • You have a history of building successful relationships in previous sales roles
  • You are aligned with the six Buildforce Cultural Values (see at www.buildforce.com/about)
  • You are fearless and have a high tolerance for rejection
  • You have superior communication skills
  • You’re a creative, quick thinking problem solver
  • You are tech savvy, with proficiency in CRMs like Hubspot
