- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, split units, package units, chillers, and ventilation systems.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests related to air conditioning and ventilation.
- Monitor and maintain chilled water systems, pumps, thermostats, and control systems.
- Clean and replace air filters, coils, condensate drains, and other HVAC components.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor refrigerant levels and perform leak detection and repairs in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment inspections.
- Coordinate with other Engineering team members during maintenance projects and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and hotel operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support energy conservation initiatives by ensuring HVAC systems operate efficiently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in HVAC, Air Conditioning, or Refrigeration preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AC Technician, preferably in a hotel, hospitality, commercial, or facilities maintenance environment
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and electrical controls
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and technical manuals
- Experience using HVAC diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Physically fit and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and on rotating shifts

Job Description
- The AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems throughout the hotel.
- This role ensures that all guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back of house facilities maintain optimal temperature and air quality while adhering to safety, operational, and hospitality standards.
