Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and repair all water works and steam generation related equipment
- Operate, maintain, and repair LP gas systems/equipment for storage, delivery, and usage
- Ensure optimum performance of all plumbing related equipment by following preventive maintenance and shift readings programs
- Respond immediately to all work requests concerning Health and Safety
- Respond to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner
- Evaluate and appropriately respond to equipment usage and energy efficiency
- Complete all work orders with due diligence
- Maintain a daily log book highlighting problems and solutions; and activities
- Maintain plumbing shop drawings and equipment catalogue and tagging directories
- Actively participate in monthly departmental meeting by providing feedback and offering suggestions for improvement
- Complete tasks as assigned by Shift Supervisor
- Maintain health and safety documentation and records for assigned area
Requirements
- High School graduate, related technical or trades certification
- At least 2 years experience as a service technician, preferably in hospitality or hospital industry
- Proficient in plumbing, pipe and gas fitting repair and maintenance plus basic knowledge of one other building operations skill set
- Ability to use all general repair tools, read shop drawings and specifications, make rough estimates of required materials
- Ability to work independently with good interpersonal skills
- Creative, practical and pro active approach to problem solving
- Energetic and dynamic personality

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Qualifications
