Job Description
The hotel is seeking an A/C Technician to install, service, and repair temperature and air-quality control systems.
The role supports maintenance operations and service delivery across hotel departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, and chillers.
- Perform preventive maintenance on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Check refrigeration system and component performance.
- Verify walk-in cooler and freezer door-closing systems, including gaskets and latches.
- Maintain defrosting systems and ice-maker automation.
- Respond to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
- Clean fan coil units and air-handling unit filters routinely.
- Check air-conditioning and chilled-water system performance.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues to detect failures and set up systems.
- Control refrigerant venting and overhaul air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- Check refrigeration and oil levels and coordinate parts purchasing.
- Follow country technical regulations and safety standards.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma in refrigeration systems maintenance or building services engineering is described as ideal.
- Previous experience in the same role and proven knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance are expected.
- A good command of English and the ability to find faults and rectify subsystems are essential.
