The hotel is seeking a maintenance professional who can deliver high customer service and practical solutions.
The A/C Technician will install, service, repair, and maintain air-conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout the hotel.
Technical Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems, including freezers, refrigerators, ice makers, fan coil units, and chillers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and check the performance of refrigeration systems and components.
- Verify walk-in cooler and freezer door-closing systems, gaskets, and latches.
- Maintain defrosting systems and ice-maker automation.
- Respond to maintenance requests from all hotel departments.
- Clean fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
- Check air-conditioning and chilled-water system performance.
- Identify system failures and support functional setup of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Control refrigerant venting, overhaul equipment, and check refrigerant and oil levels.
- Coordinate parts purchasing and complete work according to technical regulations and safety standards.
Education and Experience
- A diploma in refrigeration systems maintenance or building services engineering is preferred.
- Previous experience in the same role and proven knowledge of refrigeration equipment operation and maintenance are expected.
- Good command of English and the ability to find faults and rectify subsystems are essential.
