Job Description
Media One Hotel is seeking an A/C Technician for hotel maintenance operations.
The role installs, services, and repairs temperature and air-quality control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to hotel electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, and chillers.
- Perform preventive maintenance on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and check the performance of systems and components.
- Verify walk-in cooler and freezer door gaskets and latches.
- Check and maintain ice-maker defrosting systems and automation.
- Respond to maintenance requests from all hotel departments.
- Clean fan coil units and air-handling unit filters routinely.
- Check air-conditioning and chilled-water system performance.
- Work with engineering colleagues to detect failures and set up air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Control CFC venting, overhaul air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, and check refrigeration and oil levels.
- Coordinate parts purchases with the Engineering Storekeeper.
- Carry out work according to country technical regulations and safety standards.
Education and Experience
- A diploma in refrigeration systems maintenance or building services engineering is preferred.
