Job Description
Media One Hotel is seeking an A/C Technician to install, service, repair, and maintain hotel air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
The role supports engineering operations and provides maintenance attention to hotel departments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, and chillers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and check air-conditioning, refrigeration, and chill-water system performance.
- Verify cooler and freezer door systems, defrosting systems, ice-maker automation, refrigeration levels, and major repairs.
- Respond to maintenance requests, clean fan coil units and air-handling filters, and overhaul equipment as required.
- Work with engineering colleagues to detect failures and configure systems.
- Control CFC venting and follow country technical regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate required parts with the Engineering Storekeeper.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma in refrigeration-system maintenance or building services engineering is preferred.
- Previous experience in the same role is preferred.
- Proven knowledge of operating and maintaining refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment is required.
- Good English and the ability to find faults and rectify subsystems are essential.

- The technician should adapt to unpredictable events, work calmly under pressure, and contribute effectively in a busy team environment.
