Yard Engineering Lead

Job Purpose

Key Job Accountabilities

• Support fabrication yard construction, commissioning, and close-out of engineering activities.
• Review contractor site queries and red-line markups for as-built activities.
• Interface between the fabrication site and design office to resolve engineering issues.
• Participate in design workshops and close related recommendations and actions.
• Coordinate technical deviation endorsements with subject matter experts.
• Ensure field-initiated design changes follow management of change procedures.
• Attend FATs and SATs and support field commissioning.
• Coordinate procedures for handover of equipment packages to operations.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are issued on time to support site activities.

Mandatory Qualification

• A bachelor's degree in engineering is mandatory.

Knowledge and Experience

• At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience in a major oil and gas project environment is required.
• Broad knowledge is required across engineering execution, design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction, and operations.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
• Good knowledge is required across mechanical equipment, piping, pipeline, structural, instrumentation, telecom, and electrical systems.

Cross-Discipline Scope

• The role collaborates with process, loss prevention, electrical, mechanical, ICSS, pipeline, umbilicals, HSSE, and risk disciplines.
• The role supports compliance with international standards and standardized engineering processes.

Workplace and Compliance

• The role provides on-site support at a fabrication yard.
• Activities must comply with safety, health, environment, and quality policies, regulations, and standards.
• The role contributes to local employee development through workforce nationalization programs.
• Employees must comply with anti-trust, competition law, and company firewall policies.
