Role overview

Project planning and scheduling

• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Consolidate multiple project schedules into management-level schedules.
• Ensure schedule integrity, accuracy, and timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor schedule performance and identify risks, delays, and impacts.

Project controls and reporting

• Collect, validate, and analyze schedule and cost data across projects.
• Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
• Present schedule and cost performance updates to management and project stakeholders.
• Quantify the impact of project changes on overall schedules.

Risk and performance management

• Conduct schedule risk analysis using Primavera Risk Analysis tools.
• Identify schedule trends, performance gaps, and areas requiring corrective action.
• Develop mitigation strategies and recommendations to improve project delivery performance.
• Escalate schedule concerns and provide practical solutions to project leadership.

Stakeholder coordination

• Liaise with project teams, business planning teams, and internal departments.
• Facilitate planning workshops, review meetings, and schedule coordination sessions.
• Support the Project Management Team with planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve planning issues.

Contractor schedule review

• Review EPC contractor schedules, progress reports, and forecasting submissions.
• Verify progress measurement methodologies and reporting accuracy.
• Evaluate schedule baselines and proposed revisions for approval.
• Analyze schedule performance trends and recommend improvements.

Key skills and tools

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 version 22 or higher is required.
• Required tools include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Power BI proficiency is preferred.
• The role requires project controls, schedule integration, risk analysis, analytical, forecasting, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
• At least 8 years of project execution-related experience.
• At least 6 years in a major projects environment within oil and gas or a similar industry.
• Experience with National Oil Companies or International Oil Companies is advantageous.
