Role Summary and Impact

  • The Influencer Marketing Manager owns the day to day planning and delivery of influencer campaigns across WPP Media client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate client briefs into influencer campaign approaches, creator territories, content formats, channel recommendations and execution plans.
  • Build influencer strategies that balance brand objectives, audience relevance, creator authenticity, market nuance and measurable KPIs.
  • Develop creator shortlists and recommendations across nano, micro, macro, celebrity, expert, community and niche talent depending on the campaign need.
  • Lead the end to end campaign workflow including influencer selection, negotiation, briefing, contracting support, content review, approvals, publishing and reporting.
  • Manage campaign budgets, negotiate fees with creators and agents, track committed spend, monitor payment requirements and support finance reconciliation.
  • Advise clients and internal teams on creator usage, whitelisting, partnership ads, content rights, paid amplification and platform best practice where required.
  • Oversee influencer reporting, analyze performance data, extract insights and develop recommendations for future optimization.
  • Own day to day client communication, including status updates, campaign recommendations, issue management and performance readouts.
  • Manage and mentor Executives, ensuring clear delegation, quality control, timely follow up and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong creator, agent and partner relationships to secure better access, quality, flexibility and value for clients.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, reporting standards, influencer rosters and ways of working.
  • Collaborate closely with media, strategy, creative, social, commerce and client service teams to integrate influencer work into the wider communications plan.

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • 4 6 years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, social media, PR, talent management or integrated communications.
  • Proven track record of managing multi creator campaigns across platforms and markets.
  • Experience managing budgets, negotiations, client communication and junior team members is required.
