About the Role

- Lead site risk assessment for current and new activities
- Establish site WHS training matrix
- Lead implementation of site specific WHS standards and guidelines
- Lead implementation of site WHS objective and programs
- Promote safe culture among employees by providing daily WHS content to shift briefing
- Perform frequent site safety audits to identify non compliance equipment and processes
- Work with Operations team to implement solutions to eliminate exposure to risks
- Attend to incidents and occupational injuries cases on site
- Guide and assist area managers on incident investigations and Gensuite write up
- Assist Ops team in Gensuite follow up sheet and CAPA creation
- Audit record keeping practices and ensure Gensuite entries align with global WHS standards
- Ensure PPE inventory at site and coordinate with procurement
Requirements
- Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and Controls
- Experience in data analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Job Description
- Amazon is looking for a Workplace, Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to add to the team.
- The role is based in Riyadh and reports to the WHS Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead site risk assessment for current and new activities.
- Establish site WHS training matrix.
- Lead implementation of site specific WHS standards and guidelines.
- Lead implementation of site WHS objective and programs.
- Promote safe culture among employees by providing daily WHS content to shift briefing.
- Perform frequent site safety audits to identify all non compliance equipment and/or processes.
- Work with Operations team to implement solutions to eliminate exposure to risks and prevent injury.
- Attending to incidents and occupational injuries cases on site.
- Guide and assist area managers on incident investigations, Gensuite write up and communication of lesson learned.
- Assisting Ops team in Gensuite follow up sheet and CAPA creation.
- Audit record keeping practices and ensure Gensuite entries aligned with global WHS standards and local regulations.
- Ensure the PPE inventory at site and coordinate with procurement for order placement.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and Controls
- Experience in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data to inform decision making processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
