Job purpose
Provide well technical expertise in well operations, maintenance, repairs, and deficiency analysis.
Support safe, reliable, and efficient well operations in alignment with company management system deliverables.
Major challenges and accountabilities
- Serve as a technical resource for developing well operations and maintenance activities.
- Standardize well programs and procedures across offshore well operations within approved budgets.
- Oversee well maintenance, well integrity testing, and well repair activities.
- Establish and maintain well operations and maintenance strategies and plans.
- Respond to emergencies to minimize safety or financial impact on installed assets.
- Coordinate offshore management, well maintenance teams, third-party services, and OEM vendors.
- Evaluate third-party technical reports for value-adding opportunities.
- Oversee continuous improvement initiatives and support internal and external audits.
- Oversee work scoping and program development for non-routine or high-consequence well activities.
- Coordinate offshore planning and maintenance follow-up and support Offshore Division management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- At least eight years of rig-less well work operations experience in the oil and gas industry.
