Primary Purpose of the Job
Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
Monitor spending and provide financial reports.
Ensure effective cost control throughout the year.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 4 years of experience in budgeting, costing, planning, or related activities, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial position related to cost and planning.
- SAP knowledge is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and BI analytics is required.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- CIMA, CPA, or an equivalent certification is recommended.
- Advanced professional accounting, cost engineering, or systems analysis qualifications are recommended.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
- Monitor departmental spending throughout the year.
- Provide financial reports.
- Ensure effective cost control throughout the year.
