Role Description
- The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee day to day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- This part time hybrid role is based in Dubai, with some work from home flexibility for planning, reporting, and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising warehouse staff
- Organizing material handling activities
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Coordinating shipping and receiving schedules
- Implementing safety and quality standards
- Optimizing space utilization
- Resolving operational issues in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
- Monitoring performance metrics
- Preparing regular status reports
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring
- Experience in shipping & receiving and inventory control
- Material handling expertise and familiarity with warehouse workflows and safety procedures
- Practical skills in forklift operation and the safe use of warehouse equipment, where applicable and licensed
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and warehouse or inventory management systems
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision or a related role, and relevant certifications in logistics or warehouse operations, are beneficial.
