Responsibilities
- Read daily events to acknowledge VIP arrivals
- Present menus and describe specials and alternative cuisine
- Serve and clear food and beverage items professionally
- Utilize POS system to ring up sales, print checks, and complete cash out
- Carry trays, bus and reset tables with linen, china, glass and silver
- Ascertain guest satisfaction and handle problems
- Maintain clean, neat and orderly restaurant throughout service
- Polish silver, refill condiments
- Ensure workstation is stocked with appropriate condiments
- Report guest comments regarding food and beverage to manager
- Learn and adhere to safety, sanitation and hygiene policies
- Perform opening/closing side duties and set tables according to standards
Requirements
- Knowledge of menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods
- Ability to use POS system for sales and cash out procedures
- Professionalism and attention to detail
