The hotel is seeking dynamic and self-motivated Food and Beverage professionals.
The Waiter / Waitress provides professional service and helps create memorable restaurant experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary tasks to serve food and beverages according to hotel performance standards.
- Greet, seat, and serve customers in a professional, discreet, and personalized way.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the food and beverage menu to assist and advise guests.
- Monitor the quality of food and beverages being served.
- Handle customer complaints and queries satisfactorily.
- Maintain outlet hygiene, cleanliness, and service equipment.
- Complete service preparations before, during, and after service.
- Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
- Use upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
Education and Experience
- A diploma or degree in hospitality, or vocational training in food and beverage, is ideally preferred.
- Previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a high-volume restaurant is ideally preferred.
- A good command of English, guest service, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Knowledge and Competencies
- The role requires a hands-on passion for people and service with a positive and pleasant attitude.
- The candidate should be able to work in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Listed competencies include adaptability, customer focus, recognizing differences, responsibility, teamwork, and understanding the job.
- Attention to detail is expected.
