Hotels is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated food and beverage professional.
The Head Waiter or Head Waitress organizes and directs a team delivering high-quality food and beverage products and personalized service.
The role is responsible for professional guest service and a memorable restaurant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the kitchen, stewarding team, and outlet cashiers to ensure smooth operations.
- Train the assigned team according to departmental standard operating procedures.
- Monitor team duty schedules.
- Maintain proper appearance and grooming of assigned employees.
- Set up the assigned food and beverage outlet according to meal settings and opening hours.
- Welcome arriving guests and manage their seating through the hostess when available.
- Maintain professional and friendly relationships with outlet patrons.
- Remain familiar with the menu, promotional activities, and relevant outlet and hotel matters.
- Contribute to meeting and maximizing the outlet's monthly revenue budget.
Education and Experience
- A diploma or degree in hospitality is desirable.
- Up to two years of experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Familiarity with Micros is desirable.
- Previous leadership and supervisory experience is advantageous.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Understanding of hotel operations.
- Effective communication and planning for business.
- Supervising people and operations.
- Teamwork and adaptability.
- Customer focus and drive for results.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
