Role Overview
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for exceptional food and beverage service and memorable dining experiences.
The role provides professional service to guests and supports outlet quality, revenue, hygiene, and safety standards.
Guest Service
- Greet, seat, and serve customers in a professional, discreet, and personalized manner.
- Assist and advise guests using in-depth knowledge of the assigned outlet's food and beverage menu.
- Attend to customer complaints and queries satisfactorily.
Food and Beverage Operations
- Perform all necessary tasks to service food and beverage according to the hotel's performance standards.
- Monitor the quality of food and beverages being served.
- Complete service preparations before, during, and after service, including mise en place.
- Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
Revenue and Customer Experience
- Use upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
- Maintain good customer relations and help create memorable dining experiences.
Outlet Standards
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and keep all service equipment in good condition.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guest and employee health and safety and conserve the environment.
