Service Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place for service stations and the pantry.
- Ensure sufficient china, cutlery, and glassware are available before and during service.
- Remove dirty dishes as they accumulate.
- Obtain service equipment and confirm it matches the headwaiter's request.
- Clear and reset tables after guests depart.
- Keep service stations clean and tidy.
- Arrange tables and chairs according to the table plan.
- Follow the service sequence while serving guests.
- Learn menu terminology for food items and beverages.
- Deliver orders from the kitchen and bar.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Work Standards
- Report for duty on time and in clean attire.
- Follow the policies, procedures, and department standards of performance.
- Undertake normal and ancillary duties as required to maintain operational effectiveness.
