Role Overview
A restaurant is hiring a Waiter to provide guest service and support front-of-house operations.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,250 per month.
Workplace
- The role is performed in person.
Guest Service and Table Management
- Greet guests, escort them to assigned tables, explain specials, and answer menu-related questions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, serve them promptly, and check guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints politely and escalate them when necessary.
- Set up, clean, clear, and reset tables efficiently during service.
Orders and Sales
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system and coordinate with the kitchen and bar.
- Serve dishes to the correct guests according to service sequence standards.
- Suggest appetizers, beverages, desserts, special dishes, and seasonal offers.
Hygiene, Payments, and Teamwork
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards, maintain personal grooming, and wear a clean uniform.
- Report hazards, broken equipment, and safety issues.
- Present bills, process cash, card, and digital payments, and return change or receipts accurately.
- Assist colleagues during busy periods and communicate customer needs to kitchen and service teams.
Experience
- Three years of waiter experience is required.
