Assistant Restaurant Manager

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Order kitchen utensils and equipment based on restaurant needs.
• Manage contracts and supervise restaurant staff performance.
• Motivate and inspire a diverse team while maintaining effective communication with staff, customers, and vendors.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
• Use restaurant management software, POS systems, and other relevant computer applications.
• Organize and prioritize work, multitask, meet deadlines, and make decisions under pressure.

Workplace and Schedule

• The role is performed in person.
• The position requires flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and adaptation to changing schedules and demands.

Candidate Requirements

• Four years of Assistant Restaurant Manager experience is required.
• Restaurant background experience is required.
• English is required.
• Candidates should understand restaurant operations and customer service standards.
• Candidates should know food safety regulations and restaurant-industry best practices.

Food Safety Expectations

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and handling policies.
• Maintain detailed kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
• Monitor and verify appliance and food temperatures using appropriate tools.
• Engage safety devices before operating kitchen equipment.
• Use kitchen tools and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Maintain personal hygiene to the highest standards.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 2,500 to AED 3,000 per month.
