Job Purpose

Provide strategic technology thought leadership, change leadership, architecture oversight, and end-to-end delivery of Oracle Banking solutions for Corporate and Global Transaction Banking.

Lead technology transformation across Oracle Banking Payments, Liquidity Management, and Virtual Account Management products.

Deliver secure, scalable, resilient, compliant, mission-critical payment and transaction-banking solutions across multiple markets.

Strategy and Transformation

  • Define the Oracle Banking technology roadmap and align it with digital transformation and business growth objectives.
  • Lead modernization using APIs, cloud readiness, microservices, automation, and digital payment technologies.
  • Drive implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and transformation programs for OBP, OBLM, and OBVAM.
  • Ensure successful delivery of multi-country and multi-entity banking transformation initiatives.

Architecture and Delivery

  • Oversee solution architecture, design, integration, testing, deployment, production stabilization, and end-to-end requirements traceability.
  • Manage the Corporate, GTB, and Payments book of work and prioritize requirements with business and transformation stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery meets timelines, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, budgets, vendors, resources, testing, release management, and change management.

Payments and Banking Domain

  • Provide expertise across domestic low-value fast payments, domestic high-value payments, cross-border payments, salary payments, vendor payments, and funds transfers.
  • Lead liquidity-management capabilities including standing instructions, sweeps, and pools.
  • Drive straight-through processing, payment automation, operational resilience, customer experience, and high-volume real-time payment performance.
  • Support emerging payment infrastructures and industry standards.

Stakeholder and Governance Leadership

  • Partner with GTB leadership, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Information Security, Architecture, vendors, system integrators, and regulators.
  • Act as primary technology advisor for business transformation initiatives and manage executive steering committees.
  • Establish architecture standards, delivery governance, project controls, quality assurance, and regulatory readiness.
  • Develop technology talent, succession plans, high-performing teams, and a culture of innovation and accountability.

Compliance and Resilience

  • Ensure Oracle Banking platforms comply with local requirements for payments, funds transfer, AML, KYC, sanctions screening, data privacy, and operational risk.
  • Ensure adherence to information security, cyber security, technology risk, audit, and internal control frameworks.
  • Support internal, external, and regulatory audits and maintain platform availability, resilience, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 20 or more years of progressive banking and financial services experience.
  • At least 15 years leading enterprise-scale banking technology programs.
  • Extensive Oracle Banking implementation experience across multiple institutions.
  • Proven delivery of Oracle payment solutions and large-scale transformation programs.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar technology initiatives and geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong exposure to regulatory environments in the UAE, GCC, Asia, and other global markets.

Mandatory Oracle Product Skills

  • OBP 14.x and FLEXCUBE 11.x/12.x Corporate Payment modules.
  • OBLM 14.x.
  • OBVAM 14.x.
  • Implementation experience across payments, funds transfer, remittances, cash management, GTB, corporate banking, liquidity, virtual accounts, API banking, and enterprise integration.

Technical and Leadership Competencies

  • Enterprise solution architecture, banking application architecture, cloud and hybrid architecture, APIs, middleware, SOA, microservices, and database technologies.
  • Performance optimization, high availability, disaster recovery, information security, cyber security, and data privacy.
  • Strategic technology leadership, executive stakeholder management, people leadership, coaching, mentoring, negotiation, and decision-making.
  • Relevant Oracle and enterprise architecture certifications are advantageous.
