The role supports credit evaluation, reporting, decision-making, and transaction processing controls.
Credit assessment
- Review and verify customer financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Assess credit applications against defined credit policy and risk parameters.
- Perform income, liability, and affordability calculations.
- Conduct credit bureau checks and flag adverse findings for review.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation complies with internal guidelines.
- Support senior credit officers with evaluation, reporting, and decision-making processes.
Compliance and processing controls
- Apply knowledge of compliance, KYC, and AML review.
- Capture data in Mashreq transaction processing systems according to process and policy.
- Ensure all prerequisite system checks are completed according to requirements.
- Review daily reports to ensure transactions were processed against proper documentation.
Required knowledge
- Knowledge of compliance, KYC, and AML review is required.
