- Implement well styled mannequins in line with styling policy
- Use appropriate styling techniques and visual elements to aid customer segmentation
- Ensure excellent visual standards across all Business Units and Windows
- Help implement seasonal launches and events promptly and on brand
- Be aware of store and company best sellers
- Maintain awareness of competitor activities and trends
- Educate and train Sales staff to ensure VM standards
- Maintain and adhere to the VM checklist
- Liaise daily with Visual Merchandiser for updates
- Deliver design for POS, Windows, and VM as required
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Fashion or a related field
- 3 years of experience in a Visual Merchandising position within a fashion retail brand
- Fashion degree or diploma
- Ability to communicate effectively with retail staff at all levels

Overview Of The Role
- The Visual Merchandising Assistant is tasked with implementing and maintaining the M&S brand image in store, ensuring visual consistency to provide customers with an inspirational shopping experience.
What You Will Do: Visual Merchandising
- Follow the Visual Merchandising Guidelines and ensure these are rolled out across the store
- Implement well styled mannequins in line with the styling policy
- Use appropriate styling techniques and the correct visual elements to aid customer segmentation
- Ensure excellent visual standards across all Business Units and Windows of the store
- Help the Senior Visual Merchandiser and store teams implement seasonal launches and events promptly and on brand
- Be aware of store and company best sellers
- Maintain awareness of competitor activities and trends within Visual Merchandising
- Educate and train Sales staff to ensure VM is in line with standards
- Maintain and adhere to the VM checklist
- Liaise daily with the Visual Merchandiser for updates on VM processes and requirements
- Deliver design primarily for POS, Windows, and VM as required by the business
Required Skills To Be Successful
- Proficiency in visual merchandising principles and techniques
- Strong communication skills for training and collaboration purposes
- Keen awareness of fashion trends and competitor activities
- Ability to execute styling policies and adhere to brand guidelines
What Qualifies You For The Role
- Graduate Degree in Fashion or a related field
