Overview of the Role

  • The Assistant Marketing Manager role is instrumental in executing the Marketing Strategy of the mall. The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible for execution of the entire marketing mix across Digital, PR, Brand, Events, Retailer Support and revenue driven activations.

What you will do

  • Website Content: Ability to upload and manage content; Collect and update retailer content for all digital platforms
  • Communications: Retailers Lead marketing relationship with all tenants; Conduct annual marketing campaigns and events with tenants; Manage regular communications via newsletters; Campaigns/Promotions Project management of campaigns assigned from concept to execution; Support Events Manager for on gr
  • PR: Manage retailer related announcements and messages with PR agency
  • Social Media: Managing content for digital platforms provided by tenants together with Digital Manager; Manage social channels and social media initiatives
  • Finance: Ensuring all projects completed are billed accurately and on time; Managing campaign budgets and identifying savings; Assist in preparing specialty leasing forms where related to marketing events
  • Research: Conduct monthly competitor reviews on campaigns, services and global best practices
  • Government Partnerships: Coordinate various campaigns through the year in collaboration with the government entities

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing
  • 3 4 years of marketing experience within malls, retail or agency
  • Mall Marketing or retailer marketing experience (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of local marketing in terms of events/festivals/dtcm/suppliers/agencies and suppliers
  • Arabic Language
