Role Overview
Provide daily personal care and assistance to a client while respecting individual preferences, routines, comfort, and specific needs.
Support the client’s independence and maintain a safe, comfortable, and organized home environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Support personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, eating, hydration, communication, routines, hobbies, and suitable leisure activities.
- Accompany the client to medical appointments and assist with scheduling, transportation, and related arrangements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.
- Develop a respectful professional relationship with the client and family while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Observe physical and emotional well-being, identify significant changes, and promptly communicate concerns.
- Perform caregiving duties with patience, compassion, respect, and professionalism.
- Encourage the client to remain as independent as possible and provide assistance only when required.
- Assist with basic household and daily coordination tasks when necessary.
Job Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, personal assistance, home care, or a similar support role is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a compassionate, respectful, and client-focused approach.
- Good organizational and time management skills for daily care responsibilities.
- Patient, responsible, empathetic, calm, and understanding approach with a genuine willingness to support others.
- Ability to work independently, respond appropriately to unexpected situations, and remain composed under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of personal care safety, hygiene practices, and maintaining a safe home environment.
