Responsibilities
- On time dispatching of allocated flights per airline specifications and food safety standards
- Correct and safe aligning of High Loader to aircraft or unit docks
- Following safety measures of placing cones and chocks when aligned to aircraft
- Checking and safeguarding duty Tablet/Radio/Mobile/PPE
- Completing driver movement sheet on every shift
- Keeping driver cabin clean and free from FOD and food products
- Checking and reporting vehicle damage/defects on time
- Loading and off loading catering safely per customer specifications
- Appropriate handover and sign off for vehicles to shift in charge
- Informing Transport for vehicle re fueling before sign out
- Appropriate loading and off loading of Charter/Amiri/VIP/Private Aircrafts
- Adherence to Ramp Safety and Marshalling of High Loader
Requirements
- High School Qualification
- Minimum 1 year of job related experience
- Experience in operating airline catering high loader or hi lift trucks or equivalent GSE
- Home country trailer license or heavy goods vehicle license
- Familiar with airside/ramp safety
- Good communication in English (spoken & written)

About the Role
- Qatar Aircraft Catering Company is seeking skilled Equipment Operator to manage operation of light & heavy vehicles, including catering high loaders.
- Responsible for timely loading & offloading of flights according to assigned schedules.
- Ensure safe, punctual delivery to customers in strict accordance with SOPs and timelines.
Operational Accountabilities
- On time dispatching of allocated flights as per Airline specifications / galley loading plan and Food Safety Standards.
- Responsible to follow speed limit and wear safety belt whenever driving light/heavy vehicles at Airside/Landside.
- Responsible for correct and safe aligning of High Loader to the Aircraft or to the Unit Docks.
- Following safety measures of placing cones and chocks when aligned to an aircraft.
- Responsible for checking and safe guarding of duty Tablet/Radio/Mobile/Personal Protective Equipment.
- Responsible for completing the driver movement sheet on every shift.
- Responsible for keeping the driver cabin clean and free from foreign object debris and food products.
- Checking and reporting of vehicle damage/defects on time to shift in charge.
- Responsible to load and off load catering safely and as per customer specifications.
- Responsible for appropriate handover and sign off for light/heavy vehicles to shift in charge.
- Responsible to inform Transport for vehicle re fueling before sign out.
- Appropriate loading and off loading of Charter/Amiri/VIP/Private Aircrafts.
Qualifications
- Must have at least a High School Qualification with minimum 1 year of job related experience.
- Should have experience in operating airline catering high loader or hi lift trucks or equivalent GSE.
- Must possess a home country trailer license or heavy goods vehicle license.
- Familiar with the airside/ramp safety.
- Ideally with experience in operating hydraulic vehicles.
- Must have good communication in English language (spoken & written).
