People Corporation is seeking a Vice President, Operations to lead and elevate the client success function across the Benefit Solutions portfolio.
The role leads operational excellence, service delivery, process improvement, organizational effectiveness, and long-term growth across a diverse business.
Operational Leadership and Performance
- Develop and execute operational strategies supporting business objectives, service excellence, and sustainable growth.
- Lead daily performance across benefits administration, claims administration, customer service, and related functions.
- Establish KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery while improving productivity, consistency, and operational performance.
Operational Excellence
- Streamline processes, improve workflows, and enhance service delivery consistency.
- Standardize operational practices, controls, and performance expectations across teams.
- Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Use data and analytics to support decisions and improve operational outcomes.
Technology and Innovation
- Partner with Technology and Product teams to enhance operational processes and service delivery capabilities.
- Support technology solutions, automation, analytics, and digital tools that improve efficiency and client outcomes.
- Help ensure operational readiness for new products, services, and business initiatives.
Leadership and Organization
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing operations organization.
- Establish accountability measures that drive team performance and business results.
- Foster cross-department collaboration, engagement, service excellence, and continuous learning.
- Develop organizational capabilities for future growth and changing business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Fifteen or more years of progressive operational leadership experience in benefits administration, group insurance, third-party administration, claims administration, or similar service-based environments.
- Proven success leading complex operational teams and service delivery functions.
- Strong understanding of operational performance management, process improvement, and client-focused service delivery.
- Experience leveraging technology and data to improve efficiency, productivity, and business outcomes.
- Strategic, results-oriented, operationally focused, and able to lead high-performing teams.
- Collaborative, data-informed, accountable, and execution-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and French is highly desired.
- Experience with multi-employer benefit plans, benefits administration, claims management, retirement, insurance, or related service organizations.
- Experience in high-growth, private equity-backed, or multi-entity organizations.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and multiple operational functions.
