The Role

What You'Ll Do

• Greet clients and their pets at the front desk with warmth and professionalism
• Answer phones, WhatsApp, and emails — schedule appointments and respond to
• inquiries
• Triage urgent calls and walk-ins, alert the on-duty veterinarian for emergencies
• Check pets in and out, capture client and patient details accurately, verify
• vaccination records
• Issue invoices after each consultation, take payments, and reconcile receipts
• Coordinate boarding admissions and discharges, grooming bookings, and
• pet relocation inquiries
• Keep the reception area, retail displays, and waiting room organised and clean
• Monitor and restock retail items (food, treats, accessories)
• Report any signs of suspected animal neglect or welfare concerns to the on-call
• veterinarian
• Communicate clearly with clients about wait times, treatment plans (as
• explained by the vet), and follow-up care

Required

• Genuine love for animals — pet ownership history is strongly preferred
• Basic knowledge of common dog and cat breeds and pet care fundamentals
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience in Qatar (vet clinic,
• medical clinic, hotel, salon, or similar high-traffic front desk environment)
• Fluent English (spoken and written) — Arabic is a strong advantage
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software (we will train you on
• our practice management system)
• Ability to work rotating shifts within our 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM operating window,
• including weekends and public holidays
• Calm, organised, and able to handle multiple things happening at once
• Valid Qatar ID with transferable visa, or own freelance/business sponsorship
• Strongly preferred:
• Direct veterinary clinic reception experience
• Experience handling difficult or emotional client interactions

What We Offer

• Salary: QAR 5,000 to 6,500 per month, commensurate with experience
• 6-month probation period with salary review based on performance
• 48 hours per week, one rotating day off
• 30 days paid annual leave after one full year of service
